TheDwelling is a Ministry For College & Career Age Young Adults. It is a ministry of Loudonville Community Church.
TheDwelling was founded in the winter of 2008. TheDwelling is committed to the vision of LCC in reaching, teaching and sending disciples of Jesus Christ. TheDwelling is a holistic approach that integrates a Sunday Morning gathering for study, Friday evenings for application, discussion and fellowship; along with opportunities to fellowship with a community of believers. We are a ministry open to all young adults in the Capital District.
Ministry Purpose
1. Provide a church-based ministry for young adults to help them structure their faith in a positive manner. Allowing them to question without revocation and directing them to Bible based truths.
2. Provide college students with a process of growth to understand their role in the church community.
3. Provide the next step in a deeper understanding of their relationship with Jesus Christ.
4. Spur intellectual discussion and provide students with a factual basis for the Christian Worldview.
Ministry Statement
“TheDwelling” exists to spiritually impact young adults (19 to 26) from within the college age community to develop within them a passion to be authentic Christ-followers. “TheDwelling’ is devoted to moving young men and women through a transition from student ministry into a church based community of believers. Our core strategy is based on a “Three-Phase” ministry platform to move young adults through a journey toward committed Christian lives. It is the next stage in deepening young adults in their spiritual growth and formulation of a Christian Worldview.
